I have an MSc in Theoretical Physics, an MSc in Artificial Intelligence, I’ve hiked the Alps, sung in a rock band, and currently works in FinTech as a consultant.
I train regularly with the endeavour of a balanced and well rounded approach to fitness: health, balance, mobility, flexibility, technique, strength, endurance, and aesthetics. I climb, I practice BJJ, I run, I hike, I lift, I stretch, and I spend a good amount of time in the sauna.
In a similar fashion I enjoy reading around different frameworks of self-actualisation; whether it be Jungian individuation, Deleuzian becoming, Buddhist enlightenment, or other esoteric practice.
I’ve spent time studying theology, and respect and appreciate all doctrines in their aspiration to move closer to god and experience the divine- but I take no one corner, and do not agree with dogmatic irreverence of others’ beliefs or lack thereof. My own concept of god is probably closest to the definition put forward by Spinoza on the universal level, and more of a symbolic Jungian one on the personal-aspirational.
I love words and their meanings, mathematics in all of its complexity, and music for its beauty – I am in love with the world, and have spent a lot of time trying to work out how best to live well in it with everyone else… It’s a work in progress.
I’ve met a lot of interesting people and had a lot of interesting conversations on a lot of interesting topics. I daydream a lot, and although I have tried many different sports, jobs, hobbies, professions, and will likely continue to do so- I consider myself at my essence to be a philosopher at heart. I hope to share some of my musings and experiences with you if you’re interested.
